glassxxheart @ 09:38 am: ROOM FOR RENT
Hey My name is Michael.
Me and my husband are separating.
I am 23yrs old and have a 1yr old son.
We live in Corona CA
I need a room mate desperately!
I live in these apartments http://www.forrent.com/apartment-community-profile/1003598.php
I pay $1062/ month for a 2 bedroom.
So rent would be $600 a month and that includes all utilities.
NO DRUG USE AT ALL.
I am a laid back young mom who works full time at home depot.
I cant afford a place on my own and i really don't want to rent a room from someone I would rather stay in my own place and rent to someone.
For more info on ME you can look at my profile or my livejournal.
e-mail me if interested at michaelxbaby@gmail.com

lactatingbitch @ 11:26 pm: I created this community a long time ago and have not been active in it, or even had it in my friend's list. I was wondering if anyone would like to take it over and do with it whatever they want?

karamaia @ 12:42 am: Community Healing Arts & the Circle of Life
I am working to open a family healing arts center in my community to provide a spectrum of care for infants to adults, including midwifery, craniosacral therapy, chiropractic, parent groups, childbirth ed, and workshops. My passion is craniosacral, doula care, teaching, and community organizing.

This will happen within the next year, and I am currently gathering resources, developing my business plan, and working with local community small business resources to create a solid plan and support system. I also have practitioners interested and a space lined up for 2009.

I am also a hoopdancer and teacher, and I am in a contest to win $10,000 for my hoopdance video: Gemini Hoops. http://www.clipstar.com/videopage.jsf?video=9_7002_159

Will you please vote for my video and help to fund the creation of my healing arts center? I am currently in 2nd place, and if I win this contest, it will go toward to creation of my family healing arts center and community healing project.

Thank you! I greatly appreciate your support! Your vote counts, please show your support!

badassisascam @ 12:50 pm: Keep your kids safe from this company!
I have joined LJ in hopes of warning the many parents who only seek the best for their child and to help keep the online community from being scammed.

As a former employee of the companies owned by Robb Gott (badasstutors.com, supertutorsusa.com, and ratemytutor.com) I have witnessed the most disgusting and unethical practices imaginable for a "legitimate" tutoring company. Hence, why I refuse to work for them.

Mainly targeting K-12 children with his supertutorsusa.com website, Gott has convinced parents that his service should be used because he "Guarantees an A or B or free" and he offers "professional licensed tutors." The truth is, however, there are no background checks.

And the tutors aren't just teaching algebra and English to your kids- they're also teaching "BJ" classes and other oral sex and drug-related lessons.

Gott has been associated with spamming over 17000 UNLV students, vandalizing campuses to advertise, and refusing to pay his employees.

Check out this Live Journal Account to see more of our Journals- including written correspondence where Gott refused to pay his employee, as well as links to articles! Not a company I think children (or college students) should use as a legitimate tutoring service.

spakanatoy @ 02:19 am: Sorry
Though I am not a Mom,I am posting in this community because there seems to be no other community that offers to help out people who intend on relocating and it is evident that as mothers, you guys would probably know best where the safe areas to live in are.

I am a 21 year old female living in the Philippines, planning to migrate to San Diego sometime around March. I have been trying to research on places where I can live in San Diego (my husband is going to follow in 6-8 months after I leave). So far, I have been looking into "safe areas" like Mission Hills, La Jolla and Point Loma (though from what I hear pretty pricey). Though I am 21 I don't consider myself someone who likes to party at all so it is NOT important for me to be near places like that. Oh, and preferably an area drug free (if there is such a thing)

By safe I only mean, low crime rape and NO RAPSISTS (as this is my greatest fear).

1) What areas would you recommend?
2) Should I find a roommate first or is it relatively easy living alone (I mean completely in San diego)?
3) How long can one drive and keep an international license before applying for one in San Diego?
4) Which areas are near major intersections/roads?

I'd appreciate any help now as I am completely desperate. Thanks. If anyone also has YM I'd also appreciate anyone adding me to talk about San Diego in general.
